I'm a college student at Liberty University trying to understand the endless depths of God's grace. I enjoy making people laugh, being with my friends and listening to music. In my spare time I'm an emerging sports fan and a lifelong pop-culture nerd. This is my little way of making an impression for Christ on this big ugly, yet wonderful thing we call the Internet.

Missing The Forest
It's easy to miss. The small things, the stumbles, the little inconsistencies, they all vie for our attention from the greater whole. The coughs in a sanctuary, the cars driving by during a silent night, mosquitoes around a campfire. I'm trying not to let "life mosquitoes" distract me from the Campfire. There's a lot of distractions, a lot to fear. But God is greater than all of that. He's the focus here. The story He's telling. Stress takes away from the beauty of being a senior. Fear takes away from the excitement of being on my own. Doubt takes away from our perception of Glory of God. We miss the forest for the trees. When I look back on this time in my life will I say: "High school was ruined by class and stressful relationships." Or will I say: "High school was a time of formation, memories and grace." Will I stand against a tree and scream? Or stand back and praise for the forest?
