Prayer of a College Freshmen

May you take farther than my feet can wander.
Deeper than my lungs can fathom.
Faster than my legs can carry.
May you not merely begin where I end, but end al of my beginnings.
May nothing I start be of me.
May nothing I stop be of you.
Embrace this failing corpse, breathe life into it's tunnels, and make it full of only you.
My bones are broken, but you have never cracked.
My head is ever foolish, your thoughts are the source of Wisdom itself.
My plans are faulty, you hold eternity in your palm.
I am weak.
You are the Star-Breather.
Not me God.
Not my pride.
Not my lust.
Not my plans.
May my entire being be only You
