I'm a college student at Liberty University trying to understand the endless depths of God's grace. I enjoy making people laugh, being with my friends and listening to music. In my spare time I'm an emerging sports fan and a lifelong pop-culture nerd. This is my little way of making an impression for Christ on this big ugly, yet wonderful thing we call the Internet.

Present
I struggle most when I look for God. When I feel that He isn't around and that somehow I need to just search more. How can I search for the Unsearchable? Where do I begin to look for the infinitely invisible God who is everywhere at all times? Is He in a song or a conversation or a quiet walk? God can't be found, because that would imply there was a time when God was lost. He has always been by my side, even when I turned away from Him. When, like a child, I pretended to not notice Him so I didn't have to obey Him. He was still there. Is God lost or am I? I am the one who can't find his way. I am the one that needs salvation. God is not only light that comes through in the darkness, but He also sits in the darkness with you. He isn't an impersonal savior who comes in from afar as an unknown stranger. He hurts for you as He sees the world that we distorted. This world isn't the one we are made for. Death, sin, pain, these aren't things that God delights in. He allows them due to our sin, because this world turned it's back. But that doesn't mean that God enjoys them. He hurts as we hurt, he mourns as we do. That is the all-present God we worship. Who is not only fully perfect and holy, but also walks alongside us in the darkness. Because he already defeated the darkness. We are always following in His steps, He goes ahead of us in every step. He is there, whether we believe it or not. Stop acting like God has left, when in reality, we are just shoving our hands over our ears and ignoring Him.
